Description The Cardiac Monitoring Nurse is responsible for overseeing and managing patients enrolled in remote monitoring programs. This role includes reviewing transmitted health data (such as vital signs, weight, and cardiac rhythms), identifying abnormal readings, and initiating appropriate clinical interventions. The Nurse communicates with patients to provide education, reinforce care plans, and coordinate follow-up care as needed. Additionally, the nurse collaborates with physicians and the care team to ensure timely and effective patient management. Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in electronic health records and monitoring platforms are essential. Please note this position is NOT remote. Responsibilities: - Enrolls patients with the appropriate cardiac monitor modality in clinic, as ordered by physician and is covered by the patient’s insurance plan - Educates patients on compliance with the cardiac monitor for maximum efficacy - Receives and processes reports from completed cardiac monitor modalities in a timely manner - Receives and escalates alert reports received from cardiac monitoring vendor in a timely manner - Coordinates a...
