Materials Technician

Overview The Materials Technician is responsible for assembling and routing various types of printed material accurately and timely by performing the following duties. Pay Rate - $27.80 This is a new position. Responsibilities: - Receives, reviews, and processes requests for materials, supplies, and equipment needed for specific projects and general activities. - Determines accuracy of paper work by closely reviewing pertinent information on documents and purchase requests that are sent to Procurement. - Rechecks quantities and condition of materials delivered and takes corrective action when appropriate; verifies receipt of shipments when original invoice is received and certifies invoices for payment. - Prepares information and reports as required. - Must follow the procedure and safely operate a gas or electric fork-lift to move, stack, load and unload material within the facility. - Serves as Team Leader to fork-lift operators. - Keep and retain shipping and receiving records and documents as required. - Exemplify leadership abilities that encompass minimum supervision authorities. - Perform routine cycle counts of parts and or components. - Monitor, reinforce and audit FIFO. -...
