SCOPE OF POSITION: Support the maintenance needs of Camp Gifford. All employees are part of the "team" that works for the benefit of the campers. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: - Experience working with children preferred - Kitchen experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: - Able to maintain cleanliness & safety standards for kitchen and food services - Possess good leadership skills and ability to assist other staff - Good verbal communication skills - Must be knowledgeable in the areas of children/personnel safety assessment, planning, problem solving, and crisis intervention - Be able to pass a child safety background check ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Maintain cleanliness and order in your person and living quarters - Assist with cleanup of the total camp at the end of teaching session and at the conclusion of the summer - Attend and participate in all staff...
