Job description

Summary: Responsible for operating forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and picking product for shipment. Duties: - Must be able to operate forklifts and cherry pickers. - Accurately pick parts throughout the warehouse. - Weigh product using the proper scales. - Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy. - Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer. - Responsible for reading customer order notes and filling the order with any special customer requirements. - Maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies. - Assist in counting physical inventory; perform inventory audits as needed. - Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues. - Report defective materials/product, shortages and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor. - Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness. - Follow all safety rules. - Other duties as assigned.
