Position Summary: Support all manufacturing, build and process development groups through machine design and process improvement activities relating to all aspects of machine controls and automation. Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following: General -- Applies to all Electrical Engineers o Use of proper data collection and analysis to ensure provided information is supported with data that reinforces the stated output. o Coordinate/facilitate/analyze process design of experiments (DOE's). o Observe and evaluate the outcomes of implementing the solution to assess the need for alternative approaches and identify lessons learned. Functional Priority -- Electrical Engineers will focus within one or more functional priority - Design and implement PLC/Operator interface programs using GE-Fanuc and Allen-Bradley software, or other company specific software as needed. - Design and integrate controls ranging from complete systems to simple process improvements. Specify the parts and wiring methods for electrical projects or installations.
