Job description

General Job Description: This position is responsible to independently deliver BIM and Plumbing design services from conceptual design through construction completion. Responsibilities include working with multiple teams (Engineers, Project Managers, Designers, BIM Coordinators, and Trade Detailers), advanced skills in BIM software platforms, and advanced skills in design applications such as sizing of distribution systems, system layout, industry standards, and code knowledge. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Sizing and layout of equipment and piping distribution systems with minimal supervision. - Conduct sizing calculations and apply requirements of Plumbing Code - Select equipment of the appropriate size and type for the project - Assist with coordination of design and installation in new construction and retrofit projects with project management and field staff - Field engineering: assist with project execution, site surveys, trade coordination, scheduling, document management and problem solving, as required - Setup and model 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software with minimal supervision - Manage time to meet project schedules and task deadlines -...
