Behavioral Health Tech PRN - Geriatrics

Job description

Under close supervision of a licensed nurse, assists nursing to improve and maintain the emotional and physical health of the psychiatric patient(s). Performs nursing care activities under the supervision and/or direction of the Director, Clinical Manager, Coordinator, Charge Nurse or Staff Nurse. Participates in the milieu therapy program under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent PREFERRED EDUCATION: CNA: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Experience in mental health field or equivalent education/academic preparation required.
