JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Administration Manager, the Recreation Coordinator - Facility Rental & Events is responsible for the management and coordination of rentals and reservations for all Parks and Recreation facilities, including indoor spaces, athletic fields, outdoor pavilions, and special event venues. This position oversees the permitting process for special events, coordinates with internal city departments and outside agencies, develops rental policies, supervises part-time and support staff, and manages the event operations at the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Enrichment & Recreation Center. The Facilities and Rental Coordinator plays a key role in expanding facility usage and sports tourism by promoting field and tournament rentals and ensuring high-quality customer service and operational efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: - Associate's degree in Parks and Recreation, Public Administration, Event Management, or a related field. - Three years of experience in facility management, event coordination, or related administrative work.
