Description Academic Emergency Medicine Nocturnist Opportunity: The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine is seeking faculty interested in joining a nationally leading Department of Academic Emergency Medicine as a nocturnist across our three campuses that care for nearly 200,000 patient visits every year. The position is at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, rank and track commensurate with qualifications and experience. Our department offers the opportunity to practice in a comprehensive setting with expertise and opportunities across the breadth of our specialty including ultrasound, global health, emergency medical services, toxicology, wilderness, and simulation. Clinical opportunities include a range of acuity from our primary academic campus, a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke care center, to community and freestanding EDs as well as the opportunity to care for a range of clinical acuity from critical care to observation medicine.
