The Senior Underwriter operates at an intermediate level of underwriting skill and difficulty and will work independently under moderate direction from their assigned Underwriting Team Leader. The Underwriter will operate within its assigned intermediate level of Underwriting Authority to evaluate, qualify and rate individual insurance applications/ supporting documentation for assigned underwriting files to determine the acceptability of risk factors on behalf of the carrier. This individual is expected to maintain a high level of accuracy within their work product.
