First Solar reserves the right to offer you a role most applicable to your experience and skillset. Basic Job Functions: Automate data analysis workflows and communicate results with other engineers. Support 3rd party questions about test/normalization procedures and new test/equipment development consisting of concept development, specification development, experimentation, gauge R&R and data analysis. Support new plant expansion efforts. Project management consisting of equipment layout, scheduling, ordering, and start up support. Support existing equipment performance and reliability including solar simulators, environmental chambers, and laboratory measurement equipment. Education/Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree in electrical, chemical or mechanical engineering with at least 2-3 years of experience in testing. - 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Maintenance field with at least 12-15 years of experience in testing. Required Skills/Competencies: - MS Excel, Access, and Power Point experience (Intermediate level required.
