Job Description We are seeking a VP & Assistant General Counsel to join the U.S. commercial legal team for the Sports and Entertainment line of business. The position reports to the SVP & Deputy General Counsel for the U.S. Business, and is based at Aramark HQ in Philadelphia. Job Responsibilities: - Trusted Partner: Serve as a member of the senior leadership team of one or more assigned business unit(s). Provide sound advice on strategic, business and legal topics, including sales strategy, regulatory issues, strategic partnerships, contract interpretation questions, risk considerations, and commercial disputes. Collaborate with business and functional leadership to ensure satisfaction with nature and degree of legal support. - Team: Manage, develop and inspire a team of attorneys and other legal professionals. Ensure excellence of team’s deliverables and support through delegation, prioritization, and coaching. - Commercial Legal Strategy and Support: Accountable for effective handling of complex matters, including negotiation of complex commercial agreements, managing disputes and litigation, and providing legal support for M&A activity or other strategic partnerships.
