Practice and Culture The Senior Patient Service Representative Surgery Scheduling serves as a pivotal team member at the front end of the surgical journey, ensuring every case is accurately scheduled, complete, and ready for execution the first time. This role goes beyond traditional scheduling, driving process reliability, access optimization, and surgical readiness through consistent application and continuous improvement of standard work. This position is responsible for coordinating complex surgical scheduling across multiple orthopedic subspecialties and ensuring all required elements are in place to support a seamless perioperative experience. The Senior PSR proactively identifies workflow gaps, reduces variation, and partners cross-functionally with clinical teams, surgical optimization, and operational leaders to improve throughput and eliminate rework while maintaining a high standard of accuracy in scheduling. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Senior PSR is accountable for training and onboarding new team members.
