Lawrence Doors, Inc., a leader in the commercial door industry, and a part of Amarr / ASSA ABLOY Group (the global leader in opening solutions), is seeking a Roll Forming Machine Operator to work in our Production Line. (TEMP to HIRE.) Must be dependable, mechanical, able to read dimensions and use a tape measure. Position Overview: The Roll Forming Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining roll forming equipment used in the production of commercial roll-up door components. This includes handling steel coils, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring product quality through inspection and documentation. The role may involve basic machine adjustments, material handling, and collaboration with the production team. Key Responsibilities (based on assignment): - Set up, operate, and monitor roll forming machines to fabricate sheet metal components. - Use a hoist or crane to safely load and unload steel coils into the machine. - Make routine machine adjustments and perform basic maintenance. - Read and interpret work orders, part drawings, and specifications. - Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and visual checks. - Document production data, coil usage, part cou...
