Job description

This position is part time, days. The shift is Monday, Tuesday 8am-6:30pm and Friday 9am-6:30pm, at Bedford Hospital. No call. No weekends. OB and vascular experience are preferred, and breast imaging experience is a plus. New Hire Bonus available for those who qualify! Provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound to generate images of patients' internal organs, tissues, and blood flow. Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment. Evaluates images for diagnostic quality and makes necessary adjustments to capture the best possible images. Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and adjusting equipment as needed. Familiar with current scan protocols. Maintains compliance with high level disinfection practices. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed. Possesses familiarity with ultrasound contrast indications and administration practices.
