Job Description The Role: We are seeking a dynamic, experienced individual to join the Core Technology team at General Motors as a Staff Technology Manager for Mechatronics, with a strong focus on technology vision strategy development, and stakeholder development within complex global environments. As a Staff Technology Manager, you will lead the vision, roadmap, and development of GM’s mechatronic infrastructure hardware, systems, and software strategy for GM’s current and next-generation vehicles. Mechatronic infrastructure provides a platform including basic software, support package, microcontroller integration, and communication protocol for in-house and outsourced real-time ECUs (embedded control units). System- and solution-level requirements include electrical architecture specifications, infrastructure and application integration strategies, development and support for new technologies such as automotive Ethernet, and software-defined vehicle architectural strategies.
