Job Summary: Paraprofessional (Special Education Aide) works under the supervision of the classroom teacher and serves as a support person in the classroom. This position provides appropriate services to the students, helping to implement suggested educational activities and in monitoring student behavior. Essential Functions: - Assist teachers with the logistics of instructions. Including passing out books, supplies, attendance, and making copies - Assist teachers in monitoring student’s work behavior - Monitors children during lunch and recess - Assists with movement of children through hallways and onto and off buses - Assists teachers with reinforcing instruction and small group learning.
