The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for implementing, managing, and enforcing all safety and occupational health requirements for federal construction projects, with a strong emphasis on electrical infrastructure and substation construction. The SSHO ensures compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, and project-specific Accident Prevention Plans while supporting safe execution of high-risk activities involving substations, energized systems, and complex construction operations.
