Job description
This position works directly with the Associate Director of Event Technology and the Multimedia Event Technician to support technology and educational media equipment and/or events at the college. This role is a seasonal position supporting operations during Summer Break (May through August) and Winter Break (December through January). Employees in this role are scheduled up to 29 hours per week and must be available to work evenings, nights, and weekends as required. - Assist with keeping accurate inventory of equipment, answer phone, take messages, and other general office duties. - Must be available to work afternoons and most evenings. - Assist with the set-up and operation or sound, lighting and visual needs of all public and private non-academic events on campus as assigned. - Performs such professional duties as may be assigned by the Director of Special Events or Associate Director of Event Technology. - Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
