Description JOB SUMMARY: Provides quality patient care according to established standards of nursing practice and Rimrock’s policies. Assures adherence to state statutes and rules, CARF standards, and federal regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Positively represents the organization and promotes Rimrock’s Mission to the community. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: EDUCATION/TRAINING: Graduated from an accredited nursing program and received nursing diploma. SKILLS: Knowledge and understanding of current nursing theory and practice and ability to perform accordingly under the supervision of the Director of Patient Care and/or Medical Director; understanding of Rimrock’s policies related to patient care; knowledge of limitations in nursing practice and ability to request assistance of supervisor when needed; ability to establish appropriate rapport with chemically dependent patients; understanding of chemical dependency therapy process and ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
