Job Summary: The physician will manage patients in an innovative outpatient clinic primarily at two RTC locations – Springwoods Village and Fort Bend Medical & Diagnostic Center; this involves direct patient care and supervision of APCs. Candidate will evaluate and treat higher acuity patients in the outpatient clinic setting. This position provides opportunities to apply critical thinking to care for patients that would otherwise seek medical care in the ER. Job Responsibilities: - Respond to E-consult and order appropriate therapy plans - Supervise the RTC APCs - Option to perform urgent bedside thoracentesis and paracentesis - Hospital rounds at locally affiliated hospital if needed - Coordinate care with other Kelsey Seybold providers, as needed Job Qualifications: Kelsey Seybold Clinic accepts H1B Visas - Licensed to practice in state of Texas. - Required – MD/DO, ABIM certified - Current prescriptive authority. - DEA license - BCLS, ACLS certified - 1 - 3 years hospitalist experience preferred - Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.
