Job Title: CT Technologist Department: Radiology: Location: Newark-Wayne Community Hospital: Hours Per Week: 40: Schedule: Days/Evening 8hr Shifts Friday - Monday SUMMARY: As a CT Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality, greatly enhances the overall success of imaging and the department as a whole. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs. · Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts. · Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms.
