Overview THE ROLE: The Industrial Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist serves as a resource to ensure all environmental, health and safety expectations are met as directed for the multiple U.S. sites designated. This individual provides leadership, coordination, and technical expertise in all areas of environmental, health and safety compliance to achieve excellence. This position will also work with all area locations to ensure safe working conditions and interact with team members and management to continually reinforce safe work practices while encouraging positive safety behavior. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: - Monitors Safety, Environmental and Health Programs (LOTO, Hot Work, Hazard Communication, Ladder Safety, Lift Truck Safety, Contractor Safety, etc.) - Maintains compliance with local, state and federal agencies for EHS - Provides, coordinates, or directs all required Safety Training including new hires. - Assists in evaluations and improving safe work practices and conditions - Chair Safety Committee Meetings on all required shifts - Conducts First Responder meetings at a minimum of quarterly - Implements and maintains the Near Miss program - Assists in all Accident/In...
