Overview Otterbein has an employment opportunity for a Maintenance Director . The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior level maintenance department technician. The Maintenance Director’s responsibility is to assure that equipment is kept in good repair, and that the grounds and inside environment(s) are well maintained in accordance with community policies and procedures and current federal, state, and local regulations. Schedule: - 8-hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - On call Responsibilities: - Ensures regulatory compliance with forms, reports, policies. - Conduct required fire, tornado and other drills and documentation - Work with fire safety vendor to ensure required testing is completed. Coordinates fire watches as needed. - Inspect, maintain, and test fire alarm and emergency systems in accordance with policies and procedures - Ensure that the preventative-maintenance program is followed in order to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with life safety rules and regulations. - Ensure that the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, boiler and emergency power systems are in proper working order and in accordance with existing requir...
