Overview LEON'S FURNITURE IS NOW HIRING A FRANCHISE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (One-Year Contract) An opportunity is available to join the Franchise Department as a Full-Time Administrative Assistant located at our Home Office in Toronto (in-office, non-remote). The Franchise Division is responsible for all services related to our 31 Leon’s franchises as well as the acquisitions of new franchises. This is a one-year contract role with the possibility of becoming a permanent full-time position) Job responsibilities will include the following: REQUIREMENTS: - Building rapport with current franchisees via phone or email communication. - Working closely with all departments within Leon’s Home Office, including the Legal Team, Finance and Leon’s Executives. - Entering orders for merchandise that the franchise stores request from our Distribution Centers. - Performing accounts payable and receivable duties, including invoice generation, payment processing, and accurate posting of receipts. - Updating legal agreements for new and renewing franchises. - Forwarding communication from Home Office to the franchise stores. - Tracking renewal dates and sending corresponding communication. - Assis...
