Job description

The Role As a co-op in Biobank Operations, you will support Moderna’s biorepository team by ensuring the quality, integrity, and efficiency of biospecimen handling and storage. This co-op offers hands-on experience in sample lifecycle management, laboratory automation, and digital systems within a regulated biotech environment. Located at our Norwood, MA facility, this lab-based role directly supports clinical trials and long-term sample management initiatives that advance Moderna’s mission. This position will run from July 13th-December 11th, 2026. Candidates must be available for the entire duration of the program. Here’s What You’ll Do: Assist in managing biospecimen intake, documentation, storage, and distribution in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Utilize LabVantage Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to support accurate sample tracking and lifecycle management. Support automation and robotics workflows used for sample reformatting, storage, and retrieval.
