Overview Post Title: Clinical Nurse Manager 1 – Banks Ward Post Status: Permanent Department: Surgical Directorate Location: Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9 Reports to: CNM 2 / CNM 3 / Surgical Directorate Nurse Manager Salary: Appointment will be made on Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Grade (€47,389- €55,808) at a point in line with Government pay policy. Hours of work: Full-Time, 37.5 hours Closing Date: 21/05/2026 @ 12:00 Position Summary: Banks ward is a 35 bed surgical ward that specialises in the management of trauma and elective orthopaedic and plastic surgery cases. The primary purpose of the Clinical Nurse Manager 1 is to develop, maintain and evaluate an environment that supports the professional nurse in the provision of excellence in patient care. It is predominantly a clinical role with an educational focus. The Clinical Nurse Manager 1 will assist and when needed deputise for the CNM2 as required. The successful candidate will also provide managerial and clinical supervision for their department when rostered.
