Custodian I - 2nd Shift - North Liberty - ( 26002657 ) Description The University of Iowa Healthcare department of Environmental Services is seeking a Custodian to provide a safe, clean and healthy environment for patients, guests, visitors and staff of The University of Iowa Health Care. While supporting the EVS department as a whole, your primary duties will be to clean the kitchen and dining areas. This position will be assigned at our North Liberty Campus. Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities: Position may have Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Risk. This position is performed fully on campus. - General cleaning - Trash removal - Stock supplies for cart and custodial area - Clean and disinfect restrooms/ refill restroom supplies - Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and damp mopping hard surface floors - Carpet cleaning - Unit/bed making - Wall & ceiling washing - Furniture moves and room setups - Use various types of custodial equipment in performance of duties - Other tasks and duties as assigned Percent of time: 100%: Schedule: Monday-Friday with varying second shift hours Salary: $17.31/hour: Benefits Highlights: - Regular salaried position - Fringe benefit package including pai...
