Data Manager JOB DESCRIPTION: Fuel Consulting is seeking two data managers to work in a high tempo, operational environment. The positions can be based in either Chantilly, Warrenton or McLean, VA, depending on the experience level of the selected candidate. The data manager acquires, controls, and catalogs large scale, complex datasets for our customer’s mission. The position requires a highly detail oriented individual who understands the complexities of data movement and curation. The data manager will also be responsible for analyzing the customer’s current dataset catalog to identify areas of weakness which will then drive additional targeted dataset acquisition technologies as appropriate. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. - Experience - Position #1 - A subject matter expert with 10-15 years of data management experience - Position #2 - A full performance officer with 5-10 years of experience - Proven ability to multi-task, independent, self-starter - Possesses excellent mathematical abilities and organizatio...
