Principal Mechanical Engineer This role is central to advancing engineering excellence at Sedgman. You will plan, coordinate and lead complex design assignments, ensuring technical rigour and high-quality outcomes. With a focus on shaping engineering standards and specifications, you will play a pivotal role in resolving challenging technical issues, enhancing design processes, and ensuring our projects consistently meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and the broader industry. Accountabilities - Job Specific: - Support Project Development activities through the concept setting and review process. - C ommunicate effectively with existing and prospective clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met. - Maintain strong industry networks and build new relationships as the sector evolves. - Work with management to review complex design issues and support client negotiations. - Prepare technical documentation, RFQs, and technical literature as required.
