People Operations & Talent Manager Location: San Ramon, CA (onsite w/ flexibility) Employment Type: Full-time Exempt: Reporting to: Head of People: Comp Range: $100,000 - $125,000: Role Summary: We are seeking a People Operations & Talent Manager to own day-to-day People Operations and recruiting for a growing U.S. workforce across office, warehouse, and field teams. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who can operate independently, improve processes, and deliver results. Recruiting may represent 30–50% of the role seasonally , depending on hiring needs. You will work directly with the Head of People in a lean, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: People Operations: - Own onboarding, I-9/E-Verify, background checks, and new hire setup - Maintain accurate employee data in TriNet and ensure compliance - Support employees with HR systems, benefits, and policies - Partner with Payroll / TriNet to resolve employee issues - Maintain records, reporting, audits, and process improvements - Support H-2A administration and multi-state workforce needs - Use AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency, documentation, and workflows Recruiting: - Own full-cycle r...
