Working Title: Automotive/Equipment Mechanic Classification Title: Automotive/Equipment Mechanic: Position Details: Emergency Hire - Temporary position lasting at most 90 days with an option of being extended to 180 days. Position Summary: Under general supervision, the Automotive/Equipment Mechanic performs skilled work in the overhaul, repair, maintenance, service and adjustment of campus automotive, heavy maintenance, heavy construction, and other equipment. The incumbent reviews and prioritizes work orders with the Supervising Automotive/Equipment Mechanic and completes work orders in proper order. Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
