IU Health West Hospital is seeking a dedicated Technician – Unit Support team member for a flexible, hospital‑wide float position . This role offers the unique opportunity to support all units within West Hospital , including, but not limited to: You will receive full orientation to each unit , ensuring you feel confident and prepared wherever you are assigned. What We’re Looking For Scheduling Structure This role offers a balanced and predictable scheduling model designed to support both operational needs and team member well‑being. Provides a combination of direct patient care and unit clerical duties for the department. Administers care to designated patients under the direction of a Clinical Nurse and provides support to the patient care team. Ensures a clean and orderly environment for the patient. Provides information, directions and other assistance to physicians, patients, families, customers and vendors. May schedule tests and procedures for the patient, maintain patient records and sign patients in and out of the unit.
