BASIC PURPOSE: The primary function of the Sales Associate IV is to assist The Salvation Army in the operation of the Thrift Store for the Reno Adult Rehabilitation Program. This position description is a broad outline of responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager including stocking, cleaning, ragging out goods, operating the cash register and preparing daily paperwork. - Maintain good customer relations. Provide prompt, courteous assistance to all customers. - Answer the telephone in a courteous fashion and direct callers to appropriate individual/department. - Ensure the store’s appearance is clean and orderly. - Responsible for janitorial duties such as cleaning windows, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, etc. as assigned by management. - All other duties as assigned by supervis...
