Job Title Assistant Director, Graduate Studies Agency: Texas A&M University at Galveston Department: Idc Research Management Proposed Minimum Salary: $6,194.01 monthly Job Location: Galveston, Texas Job Type: Staff Job Description: A Glimpse of the Job: The Assistant Director for Graduate Studies is responsible for supporting the Director of Graduate Studies, developing and leading strategic initiatives and advising the graduate students in the Marine Biology, Marine and Coastal Environmental Sciences and Maritime Business Administration Departments. This position will be part of a team in Research & Graduate Studies where we support team projects and assist the Research side from time to time. Administration/Management: Serves on management team with Director. Handles special projects as assigned by the Director. Provides leadership for department along with and in the absence of the Director. Serves on various campus committees as a representative of the Graduate Studies office.
