Position Summary: Opportunity for remote work (requires some travel) for an independent and self-motivated safety professional. The successful candidate will: While this position is advertised as remote, we are only considering candidates currently residing Albany, NY, Middletown, NY, or Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA areas due to the travel expectation associated with the role. - Partner with Corporate EH&S Manager, Division Managers, Regional Managers, and Operations Field Personnel to ensure hydroelectric project facility compliance with Company Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and risk reduction protocols and procedures - Lead, manage and enforce environmental, health, and safety on several hydroelectric dam and powerhouse facilities - Identify, eliminate and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and or property damage using sound judgement and cooperative approaches - Manage annual training requirements in collaboration with Corporate EH&S Manager and Division/Regional Management - Assist in coordinating training and proactively identify opportunities for improved training and culture steering.
