Rehab Clinical Coordinator (Physical Therapist)

Job description

Overview The Rehab Clinical Coordinator assists the Director of Rehabilitation Services in the daily operations of the Rehab dept including staffing and quality improvement. Evaluates and treats patients in both the inpatient and outpatient physical therapy setting. Provides accurate and timely documentation and coordinates care with other health care professionals. Will help to develop and prepare monthly productivity and quality reports. Participates in community outreach and serves as a resource in community education. Responsibilities: Assists Director in daily operations of the Rehab department and coordinates with Lead Therapist in daily operations of the Outpatient clinic; maintains the standard of clinical practice at current best practices level; assists in implementation of policies and procedures which satisfy all current regulatory agencies. Provides direct patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings including evaluation and treatment. Will be the primary back-up to the inpatient therapist.
