Role Summary To support the daily operational functions within your buying area through follow-up with vendors and cross functional partners. Role Responsibilities: · Responsible for entering and revising purchase orders for both selling channels. Must be detail-oriented so that data is entered correctly and a steady flow of merchandise is maintained. · Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through consistent communication and follow-up with vendors, cross functional partners, distribution center and buying team. · Act as liaison between the vendor and the buyer; responsible for vendor follow-up such as updating discounts on POs for late deliveries, closing orders, processing RTVs for defective or poor quality merchandising” · Develop strong vendor communication skills; set up new vendors and assist them with compliance questions. Tend to vendor requests and PO maintenance. · Ensure proper set up and maintenance of SKUS in IP, MTS, and Sterling (via B2c) including pricing, costing, loads, descriptions, attributes, shipping restrictions and up charges. · Enter price changes and ticket requests when necessary · Manage backorders and any customer service inquiries · Work in synergy wi...
