Job description

Engineering Technician Responsibilities: - Provide technical and design support - PLC Programming & Troubleshooting (Allen Bradley / Siemens) - Assemble and construct system assemblies. - Conduct tests and debug electronic or electrical systems. - Provide and/or expedite project documentation. - Assist with organization, checking documentation for new equipment. - Assist in production and/or manuals for new equipment. - Requisition of parts and/or materials for projects. - Prepare drawings and/or sketches, BOM (Bill of Material) list. - Review and correct documentation for projects. - Maintains and upgrades testing equipment. - Repairs and troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and/or mechanical equipment. - Technical support for mill and field equipment. - Programing/debugging of the PLC and HMI systems (Allen Bradley and Siemens). - Programing/debugging of AC/DC drives. - Perform specific work-related tasks as assigned. - Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
