PCA/ Nurse Assistant - Encinitas - Float Pool - Days - 262002548 Description: This is a benefit-eligible, full-time position (72 hours every 2 weeks) working 12-hour day shifts and located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas Site-Based Float Pool. PCAs assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and ensures the patient has a safe, organized environment. They assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician and supports the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties. The ideal candidate will be someone who is eager to gain exposure to up to 7 different departments in a float pool environment.
