Description Essential Job Functions: - PowerShare Administrator - Novarad Administrator - Oversee MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound Departments - Operation of MRI, protocol management and safe MRI environment. - Operation of diagnostic x-ray, portable units, CT scan and c-arm equipment to provide quality images for interpretation. - Operation of PACS to send images to desired locations. - Utilize teleradiology to send studies for interpretation. - Prepare and administer contrast agents to patients. - Instructs and prepares patients for examination in accordance with specific needs of pediatric patients, adolescent patients, adult patients, and geriatric patients. - Provides any assistance patients may require. - Transports inpatient and emergency room patients to Imaging and returns. After exam completion is responsible for coordinating patient records with current clinical data and prepares exam for interpretation. - Responsible for care, unskilled maintenance, neatness and basic hygienic cleaning of Imaging rooms and equipment daily. - Any equipment malfunctions will be reported to the Imaging Manager. - Reports any acute or untoward symptoms to the Radiologist or attending ph...
