Food Safety Technician - AM Shift

Job Summary Assist the Food Safety Manager to coordinate, develop, implement the food safety/security regulations, policies and procedures for packing, cooling and farming operations. Responsibilities and Duties: - Assist with training for food safety and quality requirements - Maintain documentation such as SOP’s, as well as maintenance of manuals, policies and procedures as related to any food safety concerns - Conduct internal facility food safety audits as well assist with third party audits - Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all products coming in and out of the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards - Update existing food safety procedures and documentation per changing requirements - Work closely with Packing and Cold Storage and Field Managers on any food safety or quality assurance issues - Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed and documented correctly at all times - Other duties, will be assigned Qualifications and Skills: - A minimum of 2-3 years of food safety experience, knowledge and experience with HACCP, USDA, or FDA preferred. - Previous experience with SQF, GFSI, Primus, BRC, GMP...
