Location: Messino Cancer Centers Pay Range: $21.02 - $36.96 Practice: Messino Cancer Centers: Location: 551 Brevard Rd, Asheville, NC 28806 Schedule: PRN (as needed): Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, no weekends Prior compounding experience required. Position Summary: Maintains the ordering and stocking of medications and supplies as needed in the clinic. Under supervision of appropriate licensed healthcare professional as defined by State regulations, prepares and mixes medications. Coordinates with drug sales representatives, and pharmaceutical companies to obtain samples, teaching aids, and compassionate drugs. Acts as liaison between Physicians, Nursing, Pharmacy Supervisor and Purchasing in obtaining special order medications. Key Performance Areas: 1. Medication Preparation & Dispensing Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs and solutions under appropriate licensed supervision and in compliance with state regulations. Maintain proficiency with the Nucleus medication dispensing system and ensure accurate medication dispensing and par-level management.
