Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our Cardiology Team! Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) - No weekends or holidays! Location: 620 Stanton Christiana Road, Suite 206, Newark, DE 19713 The primary responsibility surrounds scheduling for the office, but will include other Office Assistant responsibilities where needed. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Schedules appointments: Check patient eligibility: Answers multi line telephones and retrieves accurate messages Process referrals: Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
