Job description

Summary / Objective The Service Technician is responsible for working in the field or in the service center as required, diagnosing and repairing a full array of consumer appliances and electronics along with periodic issues with furniture if required. Responsibilities: - Outstanding diagnostic/problem solving skills along with exceptional communication and customer service skills for the proper repair of the company’s 82 store chain along with all other related business/customers. - Prescreen, identify, analyze and repair product ensuring customer satisfaction - The tech must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot as repair challenges occur. - The tech must repair LCD, LED, DLP, and Plasma TV’s as well as stereos and general audio equipment. - The tech must work with the Shop Manager to ensure that all warranty claims are submitted. - The tech must have the ability to effectively utilize on-line resources - The tech must maintain the company’s tools and equipment. - The tech must maintain the electronic records regarding service provided and discuss all areas of concern with the Shop Manager. - The tech must manage parts inventory and working collaboratively with management to en...
