Description GENERAL SUMMARY *This is a PRN, as needed position* The Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department and is accountable for workflow management, clinical management of patients, continuous quality improvement, adherence to policy and procedure, compliance with internal and external regulatory bodies through the accurate filling of prescriptions, and ensuring the highest level of service to patients, providers, and pharmaceutical and payer partners. In addition to serving walk-in patients and employees, the Pharmacist will participate with other team members in the facilities setting to manage our patients’ health. Requirements: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/COMPETENCIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs per physician's instructions in a hospital or healthcare facility setting. - Oversees non-sterile compounding processes and assists with related quality control and regulatory compliance. - Supervises pharmacy department team members to assure performance of required functions and adherence to company policies and procedures. - Consults with medical staff about potential...
