What We're Looking For: Michael Baker International is seeking a Senior Traffic Technical Manager – Traffic/ITS to support and help lead our 35+ person Traffic Engineering and ITS team across the Northeast. This role provides technical leadership, project oversight, and business development support for transportation and ITS projects serving clients such as NJDOT, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYC‑DDC, PANYNJ, NJTA, and other regional agencies. The Senior Technical Manager will collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to lead project pursuit, design, and delivery, provide technical expertise and quality oversight, and mentor engineers and project managers. Responsibilities include overseeing ITS systems engineering, design, construction, and testing, supporting C‑V2X/CAV and emerging technologies, and ensuring compliance with agency standards across multiple jurisdictions. This role also supports business development efforts, builds strong client relationships, and maintains an active presence within the NJ/NY transportation community.
