Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Network Architect onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD to provide design and upgrade efforts encompassing the network infrastructure across multiple large-scale enterprise Information Technology (IT) programs. Be part of our exciting team supporting a robust, world-wide communications network, providing office automation packages; document and information management tools; and collaboration, voice, and video tools in a secure, flexible, distributed architecture supporting a classified DoD IT system. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Designs and plans network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Conducts cost/benefit analysis and provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network design. Responsible for monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options.
