Maps Credit Union seeks a Part-Time Barista who is enthusiastic, reliable, and a great communicator. The Dot, a local café run by Maps Credit Union, is located in our beautiful High Street Branch near downtown Salem, Oregon. The goal of the café is to engage with our members in new ways and to tell the story of our community giveback and charitable arm, Maps Community Foundation. Our Baristas contribute to this goal by providing warm and engaging member service while also serving quality beverages, food products, and services. The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated and able to work independently as a solo barista. Key responsibilities of the Barista include, but are not limited to: - Serve as the main representative of The Dot café, maintaining consistent and punctual attendance, with the ability to open and close the café. - Establish rapport with all customers to deliver excellent customer service. - Prepare hot and cold beverages and ready-made food items. - Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, and rotating.
