Summary : The Construction Manager will be responsible for on-site observations of Railroad and Railroad related construction projects. Essential Duties Include but Are Not Limited To: Supervisory Responsibilities : Possible mentoring and supervision of other field inspection staff and subcontractors. - Coordinate with Railroad and outside party contractors to determine schedule of work. - Communicate effectively with client, contractor, STV staff, and other project representatives. - Monitor multiple construction activities daily. - Review jobsite safety, as necessary and take immediate action to document and resolve issues of (repeated subject) non-conformance. - Gain and maintain an understanding of applicable industry standards for project and performs all tasks per standards and client requirements. - Observe daily construction activities for verification of conformance to the final approved project construction submittals and plans impacting Railroad...
